Gamestation.net is a friendly, family-run, local gaming store in Leitchfield, Kentucky, dedicated to bringing the same honest commitment to fun products and fair prices we offer our local customers to everyone online as well.
Unlinke most online game retailers, we started as a brick and mortar store in January of 2001 -- going online under our first website www.dozensofgames.com in February of 2002. Even though we now operate our website under the www.gamestation.net banner, we continue to run our local retail store, in part to give the local teens a safe place to hang out after school.
Gamestation.net started as a fully family-owned subsidiary of QPI, Inc., which has been in business since 1985. In late 2006, Aaron, Jay, and Laura Witten purchased all Gamestation assets from their parent's company and formed a stand-alone company of it's own, Gamestation, Inc, under which it legally operates today. We are currently members in excellent standing of the Better Business Bureau, Hacker Safe, and BizRate as well as Full Voting Members of the Game Manufacturers Association (GAMA).
Also unlike other online retailers, we fill most of our orders out of our active inventory. We carry over $500,000 in retail inventory, ready for immediate shipment, as well as a huge selection of dice and poker supplies. In addition, through www.customdice.com, we do custom dice and game work for anyone. We manufacturer, import, wholesale, and retail a lot of our products -- so we can accomodate most requests. No job is too big or too small!
As well, much of our profits go back into the industry in the form of show sponsorships, product development, charity, customer giveaways, etc.
We are continuing to support The Origins International Game Expo in Columbus, Ohio every June, and of Gen Con Indy in Indianapolis, Indiana every August. Stop by and say "Hi" if you ever make it to either of these mammoth gaming conventions!
