Fantastic and fun game!Aug 12, 2008 Some friends of mine intriduced me to this game a few weeks ago. We had so much fun playing it that I went right out and bought my own copy right after we played! The game is interesting and fast-paced. There is no "down-time" where you have to wait for people to take their turns since everybody plays every time. There was lots of discussion and laughter as we tried our best to figure out the answers. The only downfall was that the dry-erase markers in my copy did not work. However, I contacted the game creators and they are sending me new markers! I look forward to many good times with friends as we play this game and can't wait for an expansion pack of the questions to come out! Every family who loves games should have their own copy of Wits and Wagers!
Excellent party game!Jul 08, 2008 This is a great game, plain and simple. It's excellent for trivia buffs and can be played with people who aren't so good at trivia at the same time. Luck plays a good part in it, and it lets you gamble a little at the same time. Every generation of our family enjoys this game. I can't wait till they come out with a new set of questions- we've played this one so much we're running out of cards!
Great Party GameJul 08, 2008 This game is fun for any group. It plays quick, requires no real knowledge of trivia - just educated guessing and clever wagering. I got this for Christmas this past year and my friends and I play it all the time. It really is a great party game and we're looking forward to when the expansion pack comes out.

Great Group GameJun 02, 2008 This game is great for small parties or large group settings. Most of the trivia questions have most people giving their best educated guess rather than getting the right answer right off the bat. This is great because it does not require that a player be a fantastic trivia player - only that they be able to make a decent guess. It really is anyone's game and you don't have a situation where the same smarty-pants person wins over and over again.
The game moves very quickly so it's easy to keep fresh. We spend hours playing over and over. There have been a few times that players have gone crazy with their bets and we had to add our own poker chips to the set which worked fine, but keep that in mind.
The game is very easy to learn - you can explain as you play the first round and most people pick it up instantly. The most complicated part is being the banker and understanding odds, but if one of the players has any experience with that, it's never a problem.
Very highly recommended. Simple, fun.
Great party game for everyone!May 24, 2008 I bought this game for my trivia-expert husband and we love it! We've played it with 4-12 people from ages 12-75 and it's perfect for those who are trivia buffs and those who aren't. The nice thing is that generally in games like Trivial Pursuit a few people who are very trivia savvy run away with the game, but Wits and Wagers isn't that way. Some general knowledge helps, but there are plenty of opportunities for those who are clueless to come up with a win. Fun for everyone! Great for families, small gatherings, large gatherings. This is the best game we've purchased and played in a long time...
