Another fun twist to the Ticket to Ride game series!May 21, 2010 We love it! Really fun twist of the games. So far we've just used it with the regular US map game. We wanted to make sure we got the jist of it before trying it with the other boards. Can't wait to do so! It's lots of fun! We think it actually shortens gameplay time a little too. Instead of waiting and drawing train cards for several rounds before everyone has enough to start laying track, with the dice, you can actually lay track on your first turn! Still gives you some chances for skills and decision making (I was afraid the dice might make it more of a "chance" game, but you really do have some control over what you do). If you're an avide Ticket to Ride fan like our family, you'll love this new addition! We just love how they are always adding new things to the series - I think all we lack in our game close is the Nordic Countries! Next on the list!

The dice expansion speeds things upDec 02, 2009 If you love a really epic game of Ticket to Ride, then this probably isn't for you, but a lot of the people I play with prefer a more casual atmosphere. This speeds the game up, and keeps everyone on the same footing.

Not as fun as the TTR cardsJan 06, 2009 Got the dice expansion pack and played Ticket to Ride with the Dice. The group of people I played with, myself included, all agreed that the dice expansion pack make the game easier and faster, but not as fun as with playing with the TTR colored train cards. We want to create a few house rules to implement the dice portion into regular play.

Bad Expansion for Best Family Game on the Market.Dec 27, 2008 For the first time I have been disappointed by a Ticket to Ride expansion and a Days of Wonder Product. Look, Ticket to Ride is one the best games, and in my opinion the best family game on the market. This substitutes dice rolling for the acquisition of cards on the board. While it produces a different game which is alright, the original use of cards is much more fun.
If you don't have Ticket to Ride, buy it. If you have it, purchase one of the other expansions first. This pleasure can be postponed indefinitely.
