The Game of Scattergories," published in 1988 by Milton Bradley, is a great game for any group to play. In the game each player fills out a catagory list 'with answers that begin with the same letter.' If no other player matches your answers, you score points. The game is played in rounds. After 3 rounds a winner is declared, and a new game can be begun.

something to tickle the brain!Jan 14, 2009 Fantastic fun for all ages, our daughter brought our attention to it a few years ago but have not seen it in our shops in the UK for quite some time due to its popularity and being out of stock, hence our having to order from the USA. It cost a lot more because of shipping, but it was well worth it, we would never usually give up a Saturday evening to play games, but this took over and we were playing well into the early hours!
You can be as creative with your answers as your opposing players will allow, the more adventurous you are the better chance of winning a point (players with the same answer will cancel each other out). Although some questions suit those with knowlege of for example politics or geopgraphy, its amazing just how much you do actually know when youre put on the spot!
