Description:

Pay Day is played on a one-month calendar with 31 days. During the game, players will have to deal with various bills and expenses, but will also have the opportunity to make deals on property and earn money. At the end of each month, players are paid their salary (the same for each player) and must then pay off all outstanding bills, taking out a loan if necessary. Most money (or least debt) wins after six months.

2DisappointedFeb 23, 2010
I was expecting the same PayDay game I had as a child. This one is way too easy to make way too much money. The denominations are so unrealistic it doesn't give one a sense of reality (life) like the old one did. I am very disappointed.

3Teaches to count money, not lesson in life.Jan 17, 2010
The game is fun but not a good lesson in spending and saving money. It does teach kids to count but there were way too many ways to win the lottery for it to be a lesson in life. I thought I could alter the game for it to be a little bit more life-like.

5Payday GameJan 17, 2010
A fun game to play with our 8 year old grandson. Educational, creative, and very much fun.

5Classic game from my childhood I can play with my children...Dec 26, 2009
I would play this game all the time while I was growing up. One difference is there is no 'loan/bank' board with the pegs. This was handy if you played for several months. In fact I played this with my two children last night for 6 months and we ran out of 10,000 bills. It is fine if you play for 3 or 4 months. Only other difference is some of the squares are not the same but none the less we enjoy it. We have played it 10 times in just the 3 days we have had it so far. It has been a great addition to our family games. You can't go wrong if you want a fast paced easy game to play with your children. Some may say 'Children shouldn't experience receiving bills etc (as in the mail cards)' but unfortunately bills is a fact of life. Can't shelter your children from that fact forever.

4Payday GameDec 21, 2009
We had a very old Payday Game and found out they had come out with a newer updated version of the Payday Game and we wanted to try it, so I went on Amazon and found one. We were really impressed. Payday was an "old favorite" for us and we enjoy it even more with the up-to-date items on the board.
