A Fun Little Die for Your CollectionJul 25, 2009 This die looks a lot like the 20-sided dice (plastic dodecahedrons) one sees, most of which are manufactured for use with the world's most popular role-playing game (or similar games), except that it has 24 sides. Since not every kid on your block is going to have one, it makes a nice addition to your collection, if collecting unusual dice is your thing.
The die is molded of a hard, translucent red plastic. The white painted numbering on the die appears hand-done, and it is adequately handsome, if not stunning.
Since this is a GameScience die, the edges of the die are nice and sharp, since GS doesn't use an abrasive "tumbler" to smooth out the imperfections in the plastic molding process. Those little imperfections are still there, but I can barely notice them. This is a good thing, since having sharp edges makes for a more truly random die roll, and easily compensates for the small molding blemishes.
