SKU:

9001-9043

This product is currently out of stock
Description:

Precision Opaque 7 Piece Dice Set, including d6, d4, d10 (0-9), d12, d20, d10 (00-90) and d8. Coal Black with numbers (not inked). Manufactured by GameScience in the USA.

Features:

GameScience makes Precision dice that will role true every time. Edges are sharp, as these dice are not tumbled like most brands.

Lack of tumbling leaves a small imperfection on each dice that can easily be polished down with model-grade sandpaper.

Numbers are impressed in the plastic, but not inked. If you would like to ink your dice, use an ultra-fine-point permanent marker (ie Sharpie), or purchase the pre-inked version.

Priced per set.

Manufactured by GameScience, in the USA!

5Okay...try this again...Jan 24, 2010
It is a well-known fact with serious gamers that these are the best dice on the market today. Testing has shown a higher level of randomization possibilities with these dice. As I have stated on other reviews of these dice: 1.) Yes: These dice will have a tiny sprue divet that you will need to lightly sand down with an emery board or something similar. Its part of the process in manufacturing and in no way affects the quality of the dice. 2.) Yes: These are un-inked. They are supposed to be. Gamescience dice already inked may be purchased as well. Un-inked dice are for those of us who wish to custom ink our own. This is easily accomplished with a metallic or colored thin-point "Sharpie" or paint pen. Nothing to it.

4INJECTION MOLDING LEAVES SPURSFeb 25, 2009
When they advertise and describe this product, you picture glistening black surfaces with sharp and precise edges. For the most part, that image is accurate, except that on every single die, there is a large rough bump where the plastic was injected into the mold and the spur was roughly sanded off. They still look pretty sweet overall, but the effect is somewhat marred. Also, the numbers are nigh-impossible to read from a distance.
